Older Yealink firmware versions use a slightly different web interface to newer releases. This guide covers how to point an older Yealink phone at the VocPhone auto-provisioning server so it picks up its configuration automatically.
Provisioning URL:
http://provisioning.vocphone.com/yealink
If you are running newer firmware, see the standard Yealink Phones page instead.
You will need:
adminadminhttp://192.168.1.50).The menu path on older firmware is typically:
Settings > Auto Provision
(On some very old releases this may appear as Upgrade > Advanced or Phone > Auto Provision.)
Set the following fields:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Server URL | http://provisioning.vocphone.com/yealink |
| Username | (leave blank) |
| Password | (leave blank) |
| Common AES Key | (leave blank) |
| MAC-Oriented AES Key | (leave blank) |
Leave all other fields at their defaults unless you have been instructed otherwise by support.
Click Confirm or Save to apply the settings, then click Auto Provision Now (sometimes labelled Autoprovision Now or Provision Now).
The phone will contact the provisioning server, download its config, and reboot. After it comes back up, the line keys and account should be registered.
If you have multiple Yealink phones on the same network you can avoid configuring each one individually by setting a DHCP option on your router:
DHCP Option 66 = http://provisioning.vocphone.com/yealink
When the phones boot and request a DHCP lease they will pick up the provisioning URL automatically, provided they have been added to the VocPhone portal.
